Sienna IM Launches Innovative Private Credit Fund for Biodiversity

Sienna Investment Managers has introduced the Sienna Biodiversity Private Credit Fund, Europe’s first private debt impact fund focused on protecting and restoring biodiversity. This Article 9 SFDR-classified fund aims to finance projects and companies across Europe that work to preserve ecosystems, combat habitat destruction, and tackle species extinction.

Bridging Sustainability and Private Credit

With a target of €200 million and an initial €100 million commitment from Malakoff Humanis, this private credit fund integrates Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria to balance financial performance with meaningful ecological benefits. This initiative underscores the growing role of private credit in promoting biodiversity and sustainable development.
