Sienna IM in Germany advises Arkéa REIM on the acquisition of “Mobility Six”

Sienna Investment Managers‘ German Real Estate team has advised the French SCPI Transitions Europe, managed by Arkéa REIM, on the acquisition of a logistics portfolio from KanAm Grund Group. The last-mile properties comprise more than 21,000 m² of logistics and warehouse space, including offices, retail shops, and training facilities, and are long-term let to one of Europe’s leading wholesalers for automotive parts and workshop equipment. Each of the sites is ideally located at the heart of established industrial zones on the outskirts of major German cities that are mission-critical to the tenant’s last-mile delivery network. Constructed from 2016 – 2018, the assets satisfy contemporary sustainability standards with top energy ratings and green heating supply, ensuring their long-term viability.

Oliver Hecklau, Managing Director of Sienna IM in Germany, comments on the deal: “We are proud to have completed this transaction on behalf of our trusted client Arkéa REIM and to contribute to diversifying their portfolio across asset classes. This acquisition continues the fund’s success story with their third acquisition in the German market this year, having now allocated 30% of their portfolio domestically. The current market dynamics enable us to acquire high-quality logistics assets, which perfectly fit the fund’s mission of driving social and environmental impact across its European core markets. We are keen to continue this success story together and to deliver innovative solutions with purpose.

Arkéa REIM was further advised by Clifford Chance (legal and tax) and TA Europe (technical and ESG). The seller KanAm Grund Group was advised by BNP Paribas RE (broker) and Goodwin Procter LLP (legal and tax).
